New Custom Pendant

12.20.11

The pendant shown in Shady Avenue magazine, was custom designed to hold a 10 Carat Peridot. The stone was a family heirloom, and had a very special connection for our client. We examined it and found that it had no inclusions that would put it at risk at setting. We used a design that gave the stone the option to be worn alone, or with a more imposing frame.

The outside section works as a jacket or enhancer and is held together with the center section, by the chain. The chain was owned by the customer, and needed to be strong and of good quality and design. We felt that the diamonds gave the piece an added elegance. All re-setting of stones is done at the customers own risk. We only use newly refined metal in our pieces, using Harmony Metals. We recycle old unwanted gold jewelry through our refiner, Hoover and Strong. This can be used in certain circumstances to further offset the cost of a new design.

What you will see has been designed and created in our own workshops, with a consideration for the wearer that goes far beyond what is normally found in contemporary jewelry.
